Understanding the LED colors and alarms
LED Table
Below is the table of the LED colors and light patterns the CubicDetector can display.
LED PATTERN | MEANING | ACTION NEEDED |
OFF | Operation is normal when powered on | N/A |
BLUE (blinking) | The device is in pairing mode and is visible in the WiFi list | Pair through the smartphone app |
PURPLE (blinking) | The device is performing an OTA update | Wait until the LED stops blinking and returns to the OFF LED pattern |
RED 15s (blinking) *on device wakeup | The device is in offline mode and WiFi is not being used | Reset the WiFi to re-enter pairing mode through the app |
RED/BLUE 10s (blinking) | Device is in fatal fault mode | Reset the device to its factory settings* |
RED 1s (blinking) *on device wakeup | The device is in low power mode WiFi is disabled in this mode | Replace the battery** |
PURPLE 1s (blinking) | The device is waking up | N/A |

**Use a CR123A lithium cell to replace the battery
Alarm table
Below is the table of the audible alarms the CubicDetector can produce.
ALARM | MEANING | ACTION NEEDED |
CONSTANT BEEP *LED will also blink RED | Water has been detected through contact (by the device or the cable) | Remove the device from the water source and check for leaks |
1s BEEP EVERY 60 SECONDS | Low battery warning (<=5% remaining) and the device is in low power mode | Replace the battery** |
