Using the Hose-Clamps

We recommend using the hose-clamps delivered with the product.

Other metal hose-clamps can be used, however Quandify can then not guarantee device functionality. 

You will need a flathead screwdriver to tighten the hose clamps. This is not provided in the packaged box.

Do not use plastic or rubber hose-clamps as they tend to expand with time which will make the device loose connection to the pipe. 

Use 0.4 Nm clamping force.

It should not be easy to rotate the device around the pipe using your hand.

Use a flat-head or Phillips-head screwdriver of size 7 mm to tighten the hose-clamps.
